MANly

My all Time favorite blog Right Now is myMANybags!!!!!

As a man that has a serious love of fashion. I find myself trying to find a balance between masculinity and not being to Feminine with certain pieces. myMANybags has Forever broken that fear. I've learned to not Give A (you get it) about it. Men don't be afraid to rock a Celine man bag, or Prada platform sneakers. Its the man that makes the piece not the other way around.

Cotton

Stone and Cloth is the perfect Christmas present for men or woman this season! What I love about Stone & Cloth is the fact that every bag is made with cotton. Cotton is always comfortable, and like leather the older it gets the better it looks. Personally I want the Nautical Navy ipad case.

I know Christmas is about giving not receiving, so with every purchase you are helping fund education in East Africa. Not only will you be supporting a good cause this season, you will be walking around in style!

Fake Socialite

"In our generation it's easy to be considered famous or popular in a short amount of time and even though it's a great feeling to be loved and admired, not everyone that I have come encountered with has taking the humility pill." -Curtis Bryant

Curtis Bryant is a freelance photographer as well as graphic designer who graduated from Parsons the New School for Design in New York . I was very fortunate enough to be able to speak to him the other day.

Five weeks ago he released my Fake Socialite NYC t-shirt line and things are starting to pick up. He's already fulfilled orders to California, Canada, the UK, and soon Texas( I must have one). As a fashion student and stylist myself,  i get very excited to watch the growth of other designers.

What I love most is the term Fake Socialite.

"I'm now using the term fake socialite, not as a negative term but more as a reminder to people to remain humble and use their voice for good. Use your pedestal of popularity as a platform to encourage and inspire people to be they're best selves they can be. Your presence is more valued than you know." - Curtis Byrant

Curtis has Such a powerful view, and stand point not only through fashion but life in general. I'm looking forward to Bryant's full collection, i believe this is just the beginning for you. Congratulations!

Natural Beauty

"Human nature and the natural world inspire me. The materials I work with alone are inspiring with their natural beauty. The content of my work comes from life experiences such as longing and power." -Debra Baxter

Pyrolysis

Smokey quartz, burnt wood, bronze

I personally think Fashion is a form of Art. Debra Baxter is a great example of that. With her amazing Sculptures and Text Based Art, she is truly a talented designer. I am a big fan of her text art so i was very astonished that she has been sculpting jewelry for many years.

As a child she was obsessed with rocks. Debra was carving alabaster for several years before she become interested in other types of stones. Baxter says, "I am attracted to natural beauty in many forms and find it astonishing that nature could make such creations."

What i love most is every piece has a deeper meaning. Take the Crystal Brass Knuckles for example the real name is ( I am going to realign your chakras motherf***** ) As an artist she stays true to her self and that is amazing!
